Albert is going to the vets today to have his nails clipped. I'm very nervous about taking him because I'm worried it's going to upset Albert.

Try not to worry too much, Albert is a very confident little man & I don’t expect he w ill be unduly stressed by a visit to the vet.
Some hams do get a bit upset by it & might even get a little reclusive for a brief while after but they soon get over it, I’ve taken quite a few hams to the vet over the years & apart from one who was really very ill none of them have been too bothered & were fine once they got back home.

Albert out free roaming early this morning. He decided to visit his camel friend

My hubby brought me the Bagpuss last week. Albert keeps attacking it. I think Albert is getting very possessive with his camel and doesn't want Bagpuss sitting near camel

Lovely photos I can see why Albert likes the camel - so many soft furry places and a snuggly darker nook behind the camel's neck. Plus something to climb It's also a lovely camel! I want one!

Great photos of Albert and camel!

I've taken lots of hamsters to the vet but only one got sttessed the first time i took him. Clive. He was a nervy hamster though. The others who were more like Albert in temperament were fine and went straight back to bed once home.
