I'm curious as to how it sticks and makes glue when it's gluten free! I suppose it just dries like paint so sticks things that way. I like the idea as these less used grains are supposed to be better for the digestion.
It is very sticky so it does work well as glue. I have never tried it with non gluten flour as we only buy gluten free. I bought the Buckwheat flour just to use for Orko's stuff as I heard it is a bit healthier for hamsters.

I think it's more healthy for humans too! I have some but never got round to using it.

I'll get some. I wonder if Waitrose sells it or do i need to go to H&B?

Sainsbury's does a good range of organic flours ranging from buckwheat, oat, chickpea to coconut flour.

Bit pricy but that doesn't matter since its for the hamsters.

I'll have a look next time I'm in Sainsbury's. Thank you 😊

Late last night Albert investigated the tube again and then ran through it. Sorry I didn't catch it on camera.

Albert the hairdresser...

My hubby hasn't been to have his haircut for quite a while because his barber is off ill. So his hair is getting long and scruffy at the back. When ever Albert comes out to play and my hubby is around this is what happens. Albert runs up hubby's arm and then on to the back of the sofa. Albert sits and stares at the back of hubby's head for a few moments and then walks forward and begins his work. Albert ruffles hubby's hair with his front paws. This goes on for a few minutes and then Albert stands back to admire his work. As I'm writing this my hubby is getting ready to go to the barbers. Not sure what Albert's reaction is going to be... Maybe he'll start doing my hair. 🐹💇‍♂️💇‍♀️

That’s so sweet! Can’t wait to hear what Albert makes of the new haircut!
That reminds me of one of my Chineseys who always used to like sitting on the back of my neck pulling my hair.
Lovely to see how confident little Albert is too.

That is so funny and cute. I think that you will have to sit on the sofa now.

What an adorable story! Albert sounds like he would make a very good barber. I would love to watch this happen. I hope you will update us on Albert's reaction to seeing your husband's haircut. :)

Ha ha. That is very visual the way you described it :) . Albert sounds to be having a lovely time on the sofa.

Albert enjoying a small piece of walnut last night.

The only way I can attach a photo/file is by taking a screenshot of a original photo and resizing. Is there another way?

Thank you. I'll have a look. Albert didn't come out to play last night he was too busy having a party in his cage. I did have his cage door open and I was talking to him but he didn't want to know apart from when I offered him the piece of walnut. He did come out for a play during the day but my hubby was at work.
