Yes, we'll, it's a communal garden, but at times it's quiet enough to have lots of birds in it, and foxes visit. The little house is for frogs in the hope of tadpoles later onWas that your garden? I spotted what looks like a hedgehog house but I think the entrance hole may be too small for a hedgehog.
I live in London too and you are right about the parakeets being noisy. They seem to love pulling blossom off trees. I find it cute.
Hyde Park and Gunnersby are supposed to be good for the parakeets. If you take nuts and apples to Hyde Park, apparently the parakeets will eat them from your hands. They like eating fat balls from the feeder.

There might be some in the Welsh Harp Reservoir or Lee Valley Park, but getting round London these days is quite difficult. The Hyde Park parakeets are on YouTube snaffling apples from tourists
