a water bowl holder

I cut a hole into the roof of a little wooden hide and placed a shallow egg cup into it. Now the water bowl can't get knocked over and substrate can't get into it.

Also works with a carrot house and an egg cup on a stand.

Lovely idea! That's similar to the Rodipet houses with a hole in the roof and a little inset terracotta dish. You are clever.

I have read about people saying that the water bowl gets knocked over or substrate gets into it when the solution is so simple and inexpensive.
A carrot house is £5 and an egg cup with a stand £2 so for £7 and a sharp knife this is easily resolved.
