If the hamsters don’t like them, they probably taste quite nice for humans anyway I’m sure the hams will love them tho

Not specifically Eastery, but since we're having a family gathering for Easter, I made brownies with smarties in.

OH tasted one of mine and said it was ok. I wanted to check they weren’t too hard, which they’re not. I wonder if the hamsters will be bothered though as there’s no sugar, butter or flour - the things that give that nice baking smell.

I shall find out anyway.

Apples and nuts have some sweetness. Most people eat too much refined sugar, so to them, these would possibly taste a bit bland…but if your tastebuds are not attuned to refined sugar (such as a hamster), then they would probably taste quite sweet and yummy I haven’t eaten much in the way of sugar for the past 8 years!

That was my original plan, but I couldn't find any mini eggs unfortunately so had to settle for smarties.

Smarties are lovely! Very more-ish. Those mini eggs always seem to get sold out well before Easter.
