Show us your Easter crafts

Thought I'd start this thread in the run up to Easter, so we can post any crafts - whether for hamsters, by children or just generally

I haven't made anything yet - but have eaten quite a few mini eggs ha ha. We get some in and they get eaten before Easter. Originally I used to get them to go on top of a simnel cake but haven't got round to making one for a few years.

Im not particularly good at crafts. But making some hamster Easter treats might be nice.

He rushed to it and went under it and bit it. I was only trying to make it easier for him to go in his dig box as he refuses to use a bit of cork I put there.

So I made some hamster Easter treats. I’m not very good at getting things egg shaped so I bought a set of two silicone moulds. Egg and bunny shapes.

It’s a made up recipe so I hope it tastes ok! I can’t see why not.

It’s 2 tablespoons of oats
2 teasooons pumpkin seeds
A level tablespoon broken walnut pieces
Half a finely grated apple
1 egg beaten.

If wanting it without fruit I guess you could use grated vegetables instead or just leave it out.

Cooked them at 170 degrees fan for about 20 minutes

The test will be if the hamsters eat them!

The egg shaped ones are at the back and the bunny shaped ones at the front. They are knobbly of course due to the ingredients

They kind of look like mini sausages! I think egg makes them browner and shinier.
