Great to hear it looks as though Sally’s treatment is working

Sally is still needing the occasional bum bath but I have redipped her wee this morning and no blood! Just sent an email update to the vet asking if they've heard anything from the referral and if she's staying on this metacam dosage

That's really good news there is no blood in her urine now I hope things continue to improve. Has she finished the antibiotics now?

Yes all finished now so happy she seems to be doing better

Heard from her vet and the referral vet!
She's staying on metacam and has the option to add in paracetamol if needed.
Referral vet agrees joints look painful on xray so we will go ahead with laser therapy starting with a loading dose of twice a week for 3 weeks the nurse from there is going to call me to arrange

Me too! Babybelle and princess (guinea pig) both had laser therapy previously and it really helped them

Interestingly on the sign they have advertising the laser they have a picture of a hammie having laser therapy so I'm guessing hammies can have it too it can be used for wound healing as well as arthritis I think

Any humans on the picture?! . I have knee problems and it hasn’t been offered as an option. I am going to look into it.
