I have no idea. She also does this when we are sleeping at night and the house is quiet. Maybe she hears things outside, she is close to a window.

My hamster does that too. They are so curious.

Do you think this wheel is big enough for her?
The wheel is 22cm, inside it is 21,4cm.
She weighes 47gr and is about 10cm long.

When i see her run in it, i am not sure if she runs with a straight body.... maybe a bit curved in her back....so is it big enough? Or would the 26cm size be better for her?

It looks fine to me, that size should be perfectly OK for a Russian her size, some people do use bigger wheels for them but I really don’t think it’s necessary.
