[Laundry Hamper curled up half asleep in a long burrow he's dug against the side acrylic wall of his enclosure]

Little Big Boy has been DIGGING. I'm relieved, I thought his reluctance to burrow except when annoyed with me meant he didn't like his enclosure

I had to move his mug bc it was right over his new burrow and unsupported, so now it's on the side of the enclosure I had to keep shallow in order to fit the wheel and water sippy. He didn't seem to mind too much and still uses it. Didn't move his food dish but his homemade forager boredom breaker is right next to it so he can still scarffle down food while snug in his mug

Started college yesterday as a non-traditional student. In my anthropology class, we did research-style interviews with each other, and when I revealed I had a hamster named Laundry Hamper there was a woman who broke her goth demeanor and HOWLED with laghter
