I can't believe the transformation in Pete from his interactions with my s i l yesterday. This morning he came straight out from his bed at the sound of my voice came right up to the door of his cage and let me scoop him out I put him straight into his playpen then we did the hand walk after a couple of minutes he went still so I cupped my hand and he sat and had a grooming session he is very active now in his playpen and I swear if hamsters skip Pete is positively skipping this morning

I am so happy to hear this. How exciting Little Pete is feeling settled and enjoyed time in his playpen. He is so cute.

There are so many lovely 'i can't believe this really happened' moments.
I see that you exchanged the rattly Roly wheel that comes with the HH for a Trixie wheel which is a much better wheel. He'll enjoy that.

He has both the Roly wheel in in his cage the Trixie is for his playpen it's like having 2 cars to play with to him he seems to love both equally I can see him thinking shall I take the Mini or the Rolls for a spin today
I bought 2 because I wanted to have a spare in case anything went wrong with one of them wheels and water bottles essential items
