Ugh - midges

So this warm spell of weather seems to have brought out midges in our area. I haven't noticed them outside particularly (that's probably later in the evening) but they're in the house. Makes you itch! I keep squashing them on my laptop screen

Yikes! I seem to be a magnet for midges and tend to get bitten. I react to bites too so I end up with a huge red splotch! I have to put on insect repellent before bed in the summer! I haven't really seen any...yet!

I call them midges but they're probably not real midges. I only came across real midges once (in Scotland) and they are like tiny dots in a swarm and yes they bite!. So I call these midges but they're just very small things but not quite as small as real midges. If that makes sense!

Yes, I get blisters from itchy bites and react badly to them.
