Sydney is really ageing now. He is such a gentle loving hamster, I am happy I managed to help him in his senior years when he needed a home. I hope I have a long time with him but I suspect may not. However long you have Sydney I will shower you with love. You're a funny little man who lets me know if you don't like something in your home. The number of things you've evicted from your home is hilarious. <Including the hide in the first picture, you decided that it had no place in your home and started to tip it. All the while squeaking loudly in protest 🤣)

Sydney is adorable - a gently ageing little old man. I'm so glad he has a home with you.

Sydney is such a lovely hamster, it’s always sad when they show that they’re againg but it’s lovely that he has such a loving home now .

Sydney is a lovely boy. I love the way he communicates with you and decides what he does and doesn't want in his home. Sydney the interior designer 🐹💕

Such lovely photos of Sydney, he‘s going to enjoy his senior years now he has found such a loving and care home. 😊 How funny he will evict what he doesn’t want from his home, made me chuckle.

Lovely pictures, such a character🙂

I think giving an older hamster their retirement home is such a beautiful thing to do. Sydney really landed on his paws when you found him. 😍

Sydney is getting better with his handling every day. He sits on my hand now to pouch up sunflower seeds. Then when he's finished he has a little nip before walking off to enjoy his seeds in his multichamber hide. 🤣 He's so funny

That is wonderful progress! It is lovely to hear he feels safe in his forever home.😊

That does sound funny :-) Like thank you for the treats now go away :ROFLMAO:

Incoming Sydney spam. Including one where he looks like a dinosaur demolishing some flax sprays 🤣.He's growing in confidence, my little old man. I'm just sad I found him so late in his life. However he's here now to be spoilt rottenIMG_20231128_230440278.jpgIMG_20231128_230519945.jpgIMG_20231128_230515083.jpg

I love Sydney - he’s so sweet :) Roar!

Something so heartwarming and special about any animal in the latter years pleased Sydney gets to spend them with you for however long they may be

This hamster cracks me up. 🤣 I always give Sydney soaked nuggets at night to keep his weight up. So the other night I gave him them as usual, I also gave him a raviolo (like a hard biscuit with a hard filling) he had a little nibble of it then never bothered. The next morning I went to take the soaked nuggets dish out his cage to wash and the raviolo was in the nugget dish! I removed it and put the raviolo onto his platform. Gave him his soaked nuggets as usual that night. Next day I went to remove the nugget dish, slightly panicked because it didn't look like many had been eaten 😱. Looked at his water dish and was like .....is that bedding in there??? ..nope the clever cookie had soaked his own raviolo and ate most of it because his silly Hooman obviously never took the hint yesterday when he placed it in the nugget dish 🙄. ”hellooo Hooman I want my treat soaked.!!" 🤣🤣. Then then!!! The next day I was greeted with 3x poops in the dish. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I don't even want to know what that's about. Maybe because I was late with the nuggets the night before. 🤣🤷🏻‍♀️. Oh Sydney you are a character.

He's a very clever boy! I love the way they communicate.

I literally couldn't believe it. He's hilarious. He's a squeaker too if he doesn't like something. My last Syrian Cody was a squeaker too if he wasn't happy.
