Moss does need to be quite wet in a humid environment to stay green & alive, dried out it can still give them a different texture to explore but. personally I don’t think wet moss in the cage is a good idea.
Nono exactly I’m not going to put wet moss. I will dry it out properly. Last night I assembled the PawHut and wow! It’s HUGE. I will set that up after my two night shift with calm and peace and a cuppa 🤗

Oh how exciting! I cannot wait to see it.

Your hamster is getting a great Christmas present! Playtime in a pawhut! Do you still have room to move or will you eat off it on Christmas Day :ROFLMAO:

Christmas Day 100% also because I work tonight and tomorrow night and I want to move here there while I’m home to see how she will get on with that large enclosure. She never disclosed signs of boredom or stress in her XL PetAtHome cage…let’s see 🤗🎄

I hope work goes okay and you are not too busy. I know how hard you emergency workers work.

Hi Lorena and Sweetie, great photos, Sweetie looks adorable. All the best with the cage move, sounds fabulous, look forward to seeing your new set up.

This is how I set it up 😊 I hope she will like it.

It looks amazing! I think a lot of people have a deep end and a shallow end :) A bit of variety. It looks perfect. You've done a lot of work there - all the sand boxes and digging boxes. Happy Christmas Sweetie!

Thank you guys! Yesterday I moved her there and she was exited. Then I went to work and today I haven’t seen her but when I came back home this morning I could tell she was up during the night as she used sand bath and the other digging trays, the wheel as well… so I can’t wait for tomorrow after work to see how she thrive in there 😻
Merry Christmas guys, to all of you and your hammies ♥️♥️

Oh how cute and lovely! You have created a wonderful home for little Sweetie. I wish you and Sweetie a wonderful Christmas too. 🎄

Oh lovely. Don't be surprised if it takes a good 10 days to 2 weeks for her to settle in - she may be a bit jittery or not wanting to come out or interact - but after two weeks they're adjusted and back to normal again.

Sweetie will be so busy scenting. "Mine, mine and that's mine as well".

Merry Christmas Lorena and Sweetie 🎄✨

Ha ha - that's so funny Beryl :) And you're right.

I was just wondering how little Sweetie is doing? I hope you are both well. :)

Hi! Thank you for asking.
Sweetie is doing well, tonight when I come back home from work she was awake so I let her play in her playpen and she was happy 😃
