Sprite clearly did not want us to know he was out. If you look at the hole in his MCH you can spot him checking.

I have been sorting out Sprite's playpen today. I bought a new substrate for him to try, Niteangel cork granules. I baked them this morning and once cold added them to his dig box. I made this dig box yesterday using tubes to connect the boxes to make it easier for him to get to each one. So now he has coco fibre in the corner and in the boxes he has aspen, beech chips and the cork granules. I hope he likes this new dig box. The old one was not working because he does not like to use any kind of step and tries to hurl himself over the side, ignoring any steps I put there. I also added a hide to two of the sections just in case he may like it. It was a good opportunity to use the new snail hide I bought.

It looks amazing! He will love it I'm sure. I also got some of the Niteangel cork granules recently because it's a reasonably large bag and I find it hard to find good ones elsewhere. And also baked them :) They looked quite edible spread out on a baking tray :ROFLMAO:
 
Lovely, two favourite things connected, tunnels and digging! Great fun and healthy enrichment!

He loves his marigolds doesn't he? :-) Does he eat any other flowers? He's looking cute and fluffy as ever.
