Full Solar Eclipse Tomorrow/Wednesday 12th

I thought we must be on the wrong channel . Just watching it after the event on iplayer - Cornwall seems to have been more noticeable being further west. Did anyone else notice it particularly darker?

We could tell it had gone a bit darker in the living room but the sky outside didn’t really look dark at all - just like dusk.

We had the special news channel on at my daughter’s house. That helped keep the 6 year old grandson engaged as we saw the total gradually move over in Iceland so he could see what was coming. Then he was really interested in the solar flares that the total eclipse shows. It helped as we could go inside and out to see what was happening to the light etc.
only problem was that my nearly 3 year old granddaughter preferred asking Granny to read books to her! So I did a little of that but in front of the tv!
