It's a yellow egg box- the pointy bit that goes up from the bottom so the eggs get held in place inside. I couldn't use it for the chick as the rest of it is quite battered and faded underneath as it was used as a hammock before in Raffy's cage. I couldn't find the buckwheat flour I thought I had so I used plain flour mixed with water - so it's clear/opaque. The yellow is supposed to be vaguely Easter-ish! But it does look a bit like a Christmas tree! Good idea for Christmas tree treats in future though!

Oh yes, the pointy bits. That's a good idea for little trees from green egg boxes. I can see a forest of seed trees growing and used in hamsterscaping.

The cardboard easter eggs got stripped and demolished overnight by all the hamsters!
