Glad Davy is in his forever home now. Will you have news of his progress?

I will miss him too! I hope we hear more of him :-)

Recovering from one of my migraines and just read through the last 5 pgs how did I miss so much! Congrats to Toby and Davy on their new forever homes, a fabulous well done Beryl in helping them both to find these and continue living their best lives. Fingers crossed for some future updates on them ♥️

Hi Beryl, do you have any updates on Davy and Toby? Davy is my hubby's favourite and asks me most days how he is getting on. I miss Davy and Toby 💕

Davy is doing very well and loving his forever home. He lives in a Plaza with a Silent Runner wheel and has a large freeroaming area with lots of toys. He loves all the attention he gets from his mum who can pick him up and stroke him.

I haven't heard back from Toby's family but i'm confident that he's happy in his forever home.

Some people keep in touch and some don't which is down to the individual.

Thank you for the update Beryl. My hubby will be very pleased to hear about Davy. 💕

I've kept an eye on an ad of a young Robo in a Spelos who doesn't look too good. He may be unwell or unhappy or he may simply be in need of a good roll in a sand bath.
I didn't get him because Lilly's health was my priority but now she's ok i'm hoping to collect him on Monday.

He does look to be in a sad state poor little guy, I hope it’s just poor care & not any other ill health issues but either way he’ll have his best chance with you.

Today i bought a small cage off gumtree because i wanted the ramps for Clive. It was cheaper and easier to buy the lot than to order or make ramps.

Then i decided to keep the cage as a temporary cage for a foster Robo because the glass base allows for a good layer of substrate and an allround view. I need to be able to observe and assess a new hamster which can be difficult with a Robo.

I've set it up for the Robo i'm hoping to get on Monday.

Please note that i'm aware that this is a very small cage but it is temporary for the above mentioned purpose.

Yes. He's been advertised for a good three weeks now. My reasoning is that a very ill hamster wouldn't have made it that long.

I am surprised he was advertised for three weeks. I am very happy you may collect him on Monday. I wonder if he really will be male or turn out to be female.

Robos can get so greasy when they've never had a sand bath before! He does look possibly a bit thin as well and his eyes are squinted in the photo but hopefully it's nothing some proper care won't solve, especially since he's young.

I think the cage looks great for a Robo who only had a Spelos before.

Glad you're getting the Robo :)

Do you know how old he is Beryl?

The cage looks great and I'm sure the poor little robo will appreciate it 💕

What a sweet looking little fella. He‘ll no doubt enjoy the new cage regardless of size as it’s so full of enrichment and substrate for him to explore and dig in. Hope collection goes well.

Apparently bought from petsathome as a baby complete with a Spelos and advertised almost immediately which would make Robo between 2.5-3 months old. There's an aspect that concerns me but i'll take my chances.
