Hi I know hamsters are allowed baby food as an occasional treat and in small amounts but just wanted to check that these foods are okay. I checked the ingredients and they look okay but just wanted a second opinion before I give them to my boy☺️

They all look fine :-) I couldn't quite see the ingredients of the corn puffs but as long as there are no spices they should be fine.

Ingredients-wise they look OK, LOVE that they are organic and I agree with Maz about the corn puffs. My only concern is the plastic packaging which can leach chemicals that may not be good for little hammies. (Not good for anyone really, humans can just handle a larger dose...) If you can find something similar in glass bottles that would be best. Not sure what the UK offers, we still have glass options here in the US.

If it's baby food it's probably BPA free plastic :-)

I do get mainly glass jars personally, but only because there is a range of choice and I found less choice in the little plastic packets - usually Ella's Kitchen ones which mostly have lemon juice or other unsuitable ingredients in. These Tesco ones seem to be a good choice as veg based. And to be fair, people have been using the plastic pouches of baby foods for hamsters for many years without any issues. Their lives are short sadly and any ill effects of plastic would probably take much longer. If it was for a baby though I can understand the concern.
