That’s so funny, like a hamster pantomime “He’s behind you!”

Possibly!Do you think Raffy was following you the whole time?![]()
I wonder if Raffy was quietly giggling to himselfHe had this sort of look on his face as well when I turned round. Cheeky.
Love that my sister in laws hamster used to follow her all around the house she was a Syrian tooI forgot to put the kitchen door barrier up straight away when Raffy was out the other night. I let him out and sat down again for a minute knowing he was under the coffee table. Then realised I still hadn't put the barrier up. Thought I'd better check Raffy was still in the room so called him and looked a couple of places and couldn't see him (but then that happens a lot) so I thought I'd better check in the other downstairs rooms in case he had left the room. I didn't think he had but thought I'd better check. Had a quick look and couldn't see any sign of him and I was slowly walking through the "junk" room looking, got to the end of the room and turned round - and Raffy was following me lol. Walking behind me slowly. I think he just followed me out of the room. So back he went and barrier up.
Or maybe he was just letting Pip know he can and does go in his shoe boxRaffy was so funny the other night. He is very attention seeking now Pip is back in the room. He's jealous! When I was putting all the bedding in Pip's cage, I dropped the shoebox that was Pip's temporary house before he moved back. And it was still on the floor near the cage that night. While I was feeding Pip and calling him that night I kept seeing something out of the corner of my eye and for a moment I worried Pip had jumped out of the door! But when I looked, it was Raffy in Pip's shoebox! Which was kind of on its side right by my feet and he kept looking up at me and going in and out of the shoe box. As if to say "I'm here! Why are you talking to the other hamster?". I would have thought he wouldn't have liked the smell of another hamster in that shoe box.
Some do that. My first one many years ago (who wasn't actually mine - he came with a boyfriend) used to do that, but he had a motive. He used to jump on the back of my dressing gown and cling on as I was going out of the living room door to go upstairs. So it was more escape minded than affectionate!Love that my sister in laws hamster used to follow her all around the house she was a Syrian too
Raffy is so responsive - he looks all excited and happy when you call his name. He likes a lot of attention. Still not keen on being handled for long but he will sit for a stroke now and then. That is so cute! He must really trust you![]()
I think I will but need to think of something else to put in that corner.Maybe remove it and see if he stops! Maybe he’s accidentally pee’d on the flower basket![]()
