Pesto

Hi friends! My name is Kayla and I adopted a Syrian hamster about a month ago and named her Pesto. She is currently 3 months old and has so much energy!!! My favorite thing of hers that she does is how she always stretches when she wakes up and comes out of her hut.

I am asking for a bunch of hamster stuff so I can give her the happiest life. She was born in my local PetCo and has been sitting there since August, so I finally adopted her. Her favorite foods are pumpkin, cabbage, carrots, and her own version of “trail mix”. She’s a curious, smart, athletic, and sassy hamster!

Hello Kayla! Pesto is gorgeous - that little face peering out of the log And yes she does look very sassy standing up there in that photo! Female Syrians often can be! Looking forward to hearing more about Pesto. I'm guessing you're in the US with mention of Petco. Let us know if you need any info about diet mixes - there aren't so many in the US with good protein levels (but it can be supplemented - which is something I do).
