Starting this off on a bit of a sad note. Two weeks ago today, Petsmart sold us two adorable male Roborovski’s. The placard said they could be housed together. Although they seemed loving toward each other for the first little while, we started noticing some unsettling behaviour on the overnight camera. It looked like they were starting to declan. Time was running out on the return policy, and finally, we brought Jellybean back yesterday (the last day possible.) I cried, feeling like a failure and having already fallen in love with both of them, but we already have four large enclosures and couldn’t do a fifth.
There were two kind ladies working there who promised to watch out for him; I hope they can.
So here we have Peanut. It looked like he was going to end up being the submissive one, and he was the one I originally picked out (the first day we saw Peanut in the store, Jellybean was under the bedding and we never saw him at all. We went back for Peanut the next day and they both were visible.)
He’s been taking treats from my fingers, loves his wheel, sand bath, and peekaboo hide. We love him so much.
