Noisy Area

Please do not buy a pair of Syrian hamsters and keep them together. That would be harmful to them - they would kill each other. Syrian hamsters need to live alone. If you are planning on getting a Syrian hamster, then only get one. If you get two they will each need a separate large cage approximately 100cm x 50cm.
When you say it's noisy between 10am and 7pm - what kind of noise do you mean? People chatting and coming and going? Noise from machinery? Hamsters sleep during the day and aren't generally woken up by normal household noise or the TV etc but if there is something very noisy then obviously that would be bad for them.
