Hi everyone. I’m posting my cage setups for both robos. Both cages are 36 x 18 inches—due to space and safety, that’s the largest I can go. They each have the same items in their cages: Silent Runner 9” wheel, 11 x 7” dig box filled around 5” with Niteangel coco peat, 9 x 9 inch bath house filled around 5” with Niteangel dessert sand, 1 grapevine branch, 1 apple tree branch log, 1 coffee mug, 1 small plastic tube, 1 large plastic tube, small Oxbow Timothy Hay Bungalow, Niteangel 6 room house that is 12 x 8”, 9 x 6 pumice stone below their water, water dish and water bottle, small Whimzee alligator, and millet spray. I scatter feed Sunburst and Food from the Wild and also feed Mazuri Rat and Mouse diet. Treats are rotated between freeze dried meal worms, Gerber puffs, assorted veggies, Sunburst freeze dried berries. They have Clean and Cozy bedding that is around 4” deep. First cage is Sophie’s; second cage is Saffi’s. Is there anything missing? Thanks!

You have created wonderful set ups for your robos. I love that you have provided different substrates and plenty of enrichment. Sophie and Saffi are much loved little robos.

If you like you can add even deeper bedding and it will mean you can leave any spot cleaning for longer. :)

Thank you. I will add more bedding.

Lucky girls! Their homes look great. You could add a cork log. They are usually popular with dwarfs.

They look amazing! Your hammies will love all that. I agree adding a bit more bedding would be a good idea - if you can get at least 6" in :) Robos love to tunnel - mind you when I only had 4" in our robo just moved a load of substrate up to one end and tunneled in that! He made a big mound with a hole in the top and then disappeared down the hole. So then I had to add some more anyway as there was a bare spot lol!

They have lovely houses though so will probably only tunnel for fun (and to hide!).

Thank you. I added more bedding to one side.

They look really great I’m sure they must be enjoying them.
Cork logs or tunnels are a great idea, I prefer the tunnels (just the half log) as it’s easier to just lift them up if you need to check for cleaning etc & they don’t block them up like the full tubes.
