My rescue gerbils

[Haruka]

Earl (the Burmese) and Peter are two-year-old gerbils that I acquired in March from a lady on Kijiji who was moving and couldn’t take them with her. They were pretty skittish with me at first, but now they’ll come eagerly for treats.

Earl’s Burmese colouring is so pretty! Fun fact: His original owner was told he was female at first and she named him Pearl. When she learned otherwise, she dropped the ‘P.’
