What wheel would you recommend for attaching to the bars of a HH?

I use the Silent Runners with the attachment plates (sold separately). 9in for dwarfs and 12in for Syrians. For an open wheel i use the 10in Dyang wheel. You can see them in the Wheels thread.
I think there are wooden wheels that attach to the bars as well but i only use plastic wheels which is a personal choice.

The silent runners are great for attaching to bars with the attachment plates and you can put them wherever you want. There is a bit of a shortage of wheels that securely attach to bars IMO. Although I’ve also used the wood trixie one upside down, attached to the top bars.

You can buy tubes like that but a lot of people make things out of cardboard :-) You can use pringles tubes (either whole or cut up) or kitchen roll tubes etc. And you can buy the cardboard boredom breaker tubes as well :)

The bridge linking the two shelves is a Pringles tube.
The plastic tubes on the green shelf can be bought at petsathome but check the sizes. I keep them from the small cages i rescue hamsters from. Have a look on Gumtree. Often enough small cages with tubes are advertised free or for a fiver.
