Maisy is doing great settling in, she’s a funny little character, she seems to come out around 10am, that’s the time of day I’ve seen her most. She is allowing me to give her little strokes and will take treats. She absolutely adores cheese as an occasional snack and gets through whimzees at an impressive rate. Detests when I have too clean out her bed/toilet/food stores, but as she does it all in one place it’s necessary. She’s been quite shy but time is improving that. Still doesn’t seem to be using the wheel much but she enjoys her tunnels and seems to have made little routes throughout her cage. Mr cat has been poorly and has had to be kept indoors so have been unable to do bathtub taming at this time, hoping to be able to soon, failing that I will get a playpen or use a big tub for the meantime so I can better keep them apart. Since the picture I have added more bedding and removed the bendy bridge.

Actually looking at the picture I’ve removed quite a bit, I’ve taken out the log and seesaw too and I’ve replaced with two long seagrass? Tunnels which she much prefers and give her more cover.

She's gorgeous It's funny she comes out at 10am She must get up late at night and go to bed late in the morning! Maybe she knows breakfast is at 10am now.

I thought the same, odd timing, nothing to do with breakfast though as I feed her in the evenings. I give her a treat as and when I see her and out and about and that’s the time it tends to be she comes out at night too but seems to be after I’ve gone to bed and I’m up fairly late.

She is beautiful, enjoying her well furnished cage. I hope kitty gets better soon
