Has anyone used these? Specifically would like to know if the insect variety would be good to feed.

This is the product description and ingredients.

"CONTAINS PREMIUM DRIED WHOLE INSECTS AND INSECT-BASED KIBBLE
40% black soldier fly larvae meal"

INGREDIENTS

Dried black soldier fly larvae, wheat, dried mealworm, dicalcium phosphate, sunflower oil (preserved with mixed tocopherols), dried beet pulp, flaxseed, calcium carbonate, black soldier fly larvae oil, dried kelp, dried mango, rice hulls, lecithin, salt, L-lysine, choline chloride, vitmain E supplement, limestone, DL-methionine, Yucca schidigera extract, ascorbic acid, taurine, niacin, manganous oxide, beta-carotene, d-calcium pantothenate, copper sulfate, sodium selenite, biotin, riboflavin, pyridoxine hydrochloride, vitamin A supplement, thiamine mononitrate, inositol, vitamin B12 supplement, folic acid, calcium iodate, vitamin D3 supplement, rosemary extract.

If it's used as advised it sounds OK. It's more as a treat or supplement than as a main source of food.

Yes, it's safe, though it does have dried mango which I would probably pick out if feeding to a diabetes-prone species (Russian dwarf or Chinese). Black soldier fly larvae are good to feed as they're high in calcium.
