Little no-name is home!

I finally picked up my little guy yesterday. He is about 7 weeks old and just the cutest little pup. Still needs a name, but he's settling in nicely. The hammy cam caught him running on the wheel most of the night

I think I've settled on the name Benji, but it's hard to know if it's a good fit because he is still quite skittish. I'm really hoping to get him into the playpen for some bonding soon... Just don't want to force it. I also just need to confirm that he is actually a 'he'

It's not easy to tell from that one photo above, but based on the shape of his back end he looks like a he

I'll wait till you have more photos though! Females tend to have a very rounded back end. Males have a slightly more elongated back end. And of course looking underneath helps but that might not always be possible And you don't want to stress him.

With my last boy it was very obvious, even without looking at his underside. But he was also an adult when I adopted him.
