There is still a chance she could get some more mobility back with the meds but even if not hopefully she’ll be able to enjoy life comfortably for a good time yet.

A couple of weeks which would have sorted an inflammation by now or at least improved her mobility. Looks like there's more going on so it may be a matter of keeping her as comfortable for as long as possible while considering her quality of life.She does look beautiful in that photo. How long has she been on the metacam now?
Yes. The vet mentioned that as well. She couldn't feel any lumps but Lilly's underside looked quite swollen. It looks like fatty tissue and she had that before the surgery but it got worse. The lump that was removed looked angry like an abscess but wasn't one. I suppose i could have paid another £140 for a biopsy to find out what we are dealing with but it wouldn't have changed the outcome.I'm sorry. I am guessing you are maybe thinking there could be secondaries after her surgery pressing on her spine.
