Lavenders as sprays????

I have a massive raise bed full of lavender. It looks beautiful, smells great, and would add a great pop of colour. Is it safe?

I believe dried lavender is safe, but my concern would be the scent could be overpowering for a hamster. They have a much stronger sense of smell than we do and strong scents can be a bit stressful for them. Dried sprays tend to have lost scent.
