Just rescued my hamster, now she looks like this.. Should I be worried

So my familys hamster likes to escape a lot. This time we couldn't find her. Its been a week, and we found her in a vent. She looks different, should i be concerned?

Hello and welcome. Sorry she escaped and glad you found her! I can't really tell much from the photos. How do you mean she looks different?

You will need to keep an eye on her for a few days as she might have eaten something or injured herself on something. Are all her legs moving ok? If you think she seems a bit odd then I think taking her to the vet tomorrow to be checked out will be necessary.

How does she keep escaping? If it's from her cage, then if you post a picture we can make suggestions how to secure it.

Her legs itself look okay, but when she walks her back seems a bit hunched. Some of her fur either looks like it ripped off, or is just really unorganized. Thats about it in terms of looks.
 
I’d definitely take her for a vet check in case she’s broken a bone or is in pain. Hunching back can be a sign of pain.

How lucky that you found her. Female Syrians do need a lot of enrichment and space in my experience.
