So she did go round the maze then? But you helped her find the forage. I bet she was happy when she found that! Another use for an egg box carton! I've been saving mine recently so must make something!

She did go round it, needed a little bit of a guide, but she did work it out. I think she just found it easier for a bit of a short cut, once she knew where the treats were

That's so funny, what a lovely maze you guys made for her! The one time I tried a maze, my hamster also just climbed over the walls right towards the food.

Jas was making a bit of a funny noise, and I was a bit worried as I had moved her sandbath today and I know she goes under there a bit and that was where she was. So I did coax her out with a treat, just to make sure she was okay. The picture is not clear, but this is where she came out, right in the middle of the cage, so cute.

I love it when a little head pops up out of the substrate She must have been having fun as she looks all happy and innocent there! She will have been having a lot of fun digging underground and rummaging by the sound of it. It's surprising how much noise they can make.

They do make some very odd noises sometimes especially when they’re burrowing down!

She is a burrower, there are so many tunnels, it's like a mini underground system. It's so organised as well, but I think she's a bit of a risk adverse hamster when it comes to hoards. She has a couple. She even takes down wood chews!
She does know what she likes though, I added another little bridge, to help her get to the platform, but it was blocking one of her pathways up top, so she just moved it out the way. Well if I'm honest, if she could have thrown it, I think she would have. I got the hint and took it out
