It's all about the hamsters 🙂

I'm an old girl going by the name of Beryl who lives in a house full of hamsters. They are all boys including the resident human who is an old man.
We all eat porridge because our teeth are not what they used to be.

Four of the boys are Syrians and two are Roborovskis. They all have very different personalities and live in their own homes.

I will elaborate later but need to go and change the boys water now, filtered of course.

In the meantime i've introduced our rainbow hamsters and our six boys living in the house full of hamsters.

I started off with one lovely Syrian hamster and then adopted a Robo i hadn't seen, simply because he had spent five long months in a petshop adoption tank. First time i saw him was when he was taken out of the petshop tank.

I then met a lady over a bin cage who run a little rescue and started to volunteer by fostering and collecting hamsters, mice and guinea pigs.

The rescue closed for about a year and i started rescuing and rehoming hamsters myself but my OH kept adopting the hamsters!

I've met a lot of very interesting characters since March 2019 but have put rehoming myself on a hold for the time being. I still volunteer and help where i can.

The four old boys (2 hams 2 humans) have age and health related issues and need more of my time now.

I do have an emergency bin cage ready......

Hi Beryl! Yes, focusing on yourself and the ones around you that need you now is more important. I did chuckle regarding your OH. Adopting the foster hamsters is totally something I'd do too.
