Would it be okay to give Orko a tiny bit of pear as a treat?

Yes pear is fine - I would make sure there are no pips though. Apple Pips are considered by some to be poisonous so that might be the case for pear pips as well, but there is no real reliable information about that. The fleshy part of the fruit is fine though.
