Is anyone having problems viewing any images?

@Redheaddegu has been having problems viewing some images that show a question mark, using Apple Devices, and @Lovelyness mentioned it had happened the odd time for her as well. So I'm just asking if anyone else is finding this, to work out if it's a site issue or an incompatible browser issue (which might be able to be resolved). I use Windows and Firefox browser, and an Iphone and not had any issues myself.

Hi, thought I’d put my response here, so it’s all under this thread.
Now this makes for an ‘interesting’ picture. I had wondered if it was particular members where the photo didn’t load, but not so. I’ve got some photos loaded, and some not within the same post!

It must be the 2023 onwards thread as there aren't any photos in post 29 on the 2022 thread The only thing I noticed was that the first two photos you mentioned were horizontal format rather than vertical. But then some later ones were more square. The site software resizes all photos uploaded and limits the size, so it can't be file size difference. All of those first four are either jpg or jpeg (as are virtually all the photos on the site so it can't be that either).

Nope - doesn't make sense - post 38, 3rd only - why that one? They are all the same size, shape and format. It doesn't look like anyone else is having this issue right now - so maybe it is more device specific for you.

When you use firefox, can you view all the photos or not? Ie is it just in Safari it's an issue?

So sorry, yes it was the 2023 onwards. Firefox wasn’t working yesterday either. Hmmmmmmmm, I need to get the laptop out on Wednesday morning, so I’ll try on that. Although as it’s also Apple, I don’t have much hope. I could maybe try the computer in the break room at work……. See what happens there

Quick trial of chrome. No joy. It’s the selectiveness of it, with some photos in the same post that really baffles me! I’m going to blame the tech goblins then!

It makes me think it could be internet issues if the device is struggling to load all the photos at once.

Just to narrow things down a bit further:

1) Did you say you get the same thing browsing other sites, or is it specific to just this site please?
2) What are your wifi speeds?

Update: This seems to be a site/server issue as I have the same thing on that thread on my iphone. Have checked the browser console error message and am looking into it ..................... Bear with me!
