Looking forward to being part of this group and being with you all on your journey’s of hamster ownership.

Hello and welcome :-) Frankie looks very sweet sitting in his sand bath! Is he long haired? Yes a lot of things changed quite rapidly in the last couple of years - we do tend to have a flexible view on here as regards change, as people can have different ways of doing things, but the forum follows the pet charity guidelines re cage size.

Hi Maz,
Yes he is long haired. I think he is the first I’ve owned. He eventually came out of the tubing and investigated last night. I woke up to him sleeping in his house and he is drinking and I’ve noticed his food bowl is empty so I can relax now and not worry.
I do live in England and it’s a Pets at Home cage x2. Do I wait until I give him the first clean out then take off the tubing as I don’t want to get him stressed.

Hello & welcome.
Frankie looks adorable, lovely to meet him.

Frankie is a handsome boy! Lovely to meet you both.
