Sprite will strip a millet spray in one day. How often would it be safe for me to give him one? I assume he is horading it but I am unsure how often it is safe to feed.

They are golden millet sprays. I am allergic to any other sprays so do not feed them. He has three different types of millet in his seed mix.How much are you giving as one spray? Is it the really dense foxtail millet or the looser type of spray?
I think with the foxtail millet one piece once or twice a week would be enough, it won’t hurt him to eat more of it though, just unbalances the diet a bit. If he has millet in his mix you could reduce that a bit so he can enjoy more of picking it off the sprays.
Does he have other sprays too?
No they are not foxtail millet. This is what they look like but I did not buy them from here.I think that will be foxtail millet than, they are really dense with a lot of seeds on one piece so I would go with one or two a week then.
Are you allergic to flax?
Thank you. Yes it is a shame, flax really sets of my asthma. That’s a shame you’re allergic to flax.
Those are very similar to foxtail millet, the same sort of densely packed seeds anyway.
I react to all those too but actually my partner has the worst reaction. He has tons of allergies and he struggles to breathe. What I do is give Sprite forage and flowers which he loves. I do realise he is missing out by not having a variety of sprays but hopefully the forage and flowers makes up for it a little bit. What about amaranth or quinoa, do you think you migh tbe ok with those or are they a no go too.
Asthma is a pain, I have it too.
It is interesting how they both do not show any interest in sprays.I wish my hamsters would strip millet! Neither of them show any interest at all!
I guess millet is not as interesting as a teaspoon. It is. Raffy I can understand because he’s a Syrian! But you think a Robo would want to. He sniffed them and investigated them once then ignored them.
