Ive been doing lots of knitting while I've been watching the tennis

Today it is finally cooler - grey and a bit rainy though. One extreme to the other! What were you knitting - do show!

Yes, my stomach is much happier now it’s cooler! Several projects on the go…a woollen winter dress which is waiting to be sewn together (it’s been far too hot to contemplate it!), a waterfall waistcoat which is very nearly finished, and a yellow cotton lacy vest top which is about half done.Oh, and a cotton bolero too!

Amazing! You are a prolific knitter! They all sound like wonderful garments. I used to be a prolific knitter in my 20s and created some lovely things to wear, but lost the knack (and the time) over the years (although I'm sure it's still in there somewhere!). Last thing I knitted was a batman jumper! I adapted two patterns to get the one I wanted and worked out the batman pattern from another pattern and adapted that too!

We still have it - can't bear to part with it!
