So… this morning there was a pee on Blue’s platform. Marking?

Naughty boy. I don’t know why I’m afraid - laziness? Was it a long way back to his house or toilet from the platform?

I don’t know why either but they do seem to do this occasionally when they’ve not long been in the cage, they don’t normally keep doing it as long as you just wipe it down with a damp cloth or paper, if you over clean sometimes they can react by doing it more.
They usually scent mark to make things there own so I don’t think it’s that.

Oh maybe. He does spend a fair amount of time in the little “hamster igloo” grooming and turning about. So maybe he caught himself off guard. Easy enough to clean anyway! Thanks for the advice. I was just very surprised to see that this morning! Will review last nights ham-cam footage

My hamster did this when he first arrived but he stopped after a few weeks.
