Hi everybody,

I'm D and I love animals. I've grown up with them and worked with them for as long as I can remember.
I adore hamsters, they are one of my favourite pets. Over my life, I have had close to 40 of them! Now as part of my job I work with their owners to give advice on correct handling and husbandry, creating cage set-ups and similar things
I don't currently have my own hamster... which makes me sad, but the right one will come at the right time. Currently it is out of my possibilities to have one and that's okay - I will have more hamsters yet
I joined here because I am old-school and love old internet forums, and I like any chance to make friends and to talk animals(and hamsters!) and I like to share my knowledge and experiences as well.

Hi, welcome to the forum. Wow that's a lot of hamsters and a lot of experience. I think they're amazing pets. I have 2 dwarf hamsters at the moment Bruce and Waffles. It won't be long till you have your perfect hamsters again.

I work for myself now, I've worked in pet shops for years, then vets, now I have my own business, primarily I do dog behaviour actually but my services also include small animal/exotics care and pet sitting for cats, rodents of all kind, rabbits, ferrets, reptiles, fish etc
