Hello, I’ve just adopted Raspberry, a 10 week old female Syrian hamster, from our local rescue centre! I’ve had her for one week and already adore her This is my first hamster since being a child and she has become basically all I think about now!

Hello and welcome. It sounds like she will be a very loved hamster! I also adopted a Syrian hamster a few months ago and he became an amazing little friend - he is very quirky and fast (for a male Syrian!).

Looking forward to hearing more about Raspberry! There's a section where you can start a thread for your hamster and update it now and then with photos and their antics . She looks to be quite a large Syrian from her photo! I had a huge 225g Syrian a few years back - he was lovely and cuddly!
