Hi everyone we are Lou and Nim (the parents) and Atlas! We just joined this beautiful forum, after adopting our little robo almost 3 weeks ago, we are guessing he is about 2-3 months. I've had hamsters before but the standard of care where we used to live was... well, crappy would be nicer word, so this is our first time giving proper and adequate care with far more information than a 12 year old had at the time. Can't wait to see everyone's littles and learn lots of information from all of you! We want to give him all our love and the best care achievable, so we are always taking advice and tips. Here is a picture of our little boy

Ps, how much should they weight? He is 16g and we are not sure that's fine.

Hello and welcome! Gorgeous little robo Makes me want one again! Glad you've joined us, and yes quite a bit has changed for the better in the past few years. People were keeping robos in 50 x 30 mini dunas 14 years ago "because they were small" but they are so active! They love lots of space.

Atlas is probably still a baby and not fully grown so 16g sounds fine Average weight for a fully grown robo is 20g to 25g.

Yes, I remember having a hamster on tiny little cages with the bare minimum for them. But with lots knowledge in mind this time, Atlas gets to live on a massive 50 gallon tank with so much he can do around and run over!!

And thank you for letting me know 16g sounds fine, we were panicking over him been too skinny
