Hi all! my name is Helen and I have one hamster a Chinese little boy called Juno, he is a little timid but so gentle to handle and once you have had him out he then tends to come out of his shell (or house!) a bit more

He was born on the first June this year from a local(ish) breeder, I decided I needed a different breed from Syrians after loosing my last girl earlier in the year.

I can understand the need to get a different breed after a loss. I am very sorry you lost your Syrian girl.

Hell and welcome You're doing really well for Juno to be coming out more - it sounds like you're doing all the right things. I can also understand you wanting a different species after your Syrian passed. It helps. I'm really sorry for your loss.

It's lovely we now have so many Chinese hamsters on the forum! As well as you there is Elusive (who has two chinese), Daisy, Robert and MKyen. Have I missed anyone?!
