Was wondering if anyone would know what gene she’s carrying, she started off fully grey with white patches, thought it was molted at first then she just turned mostly white.

Hello and welcome. Winter whites only come in three official colours as pedigrees, and that is normal (the darker brown colour), sapphire (smokey blue grey) and pearl. Pearl is almost pure white. However winter whites change colour in the winter and go whiter (somtimes) - hence the name.

Any other colour variations are thought to be not pure winter whites, but hybrid crosses with campbells.

It's possible she's a sapphire but her coat has changed to a winter colour. But it's also possible she is a hybrid. It's very difficult to find pedigree winter white hamsters to breed from as they have been interbred with Campbells for so long.

Hello & welcome to the forum.
Lovely little ham there, I don’t know an awful lot about genes in depth but would agree with what Maz has said.

I think this section is to introduce individual hamsters.
I'd like to get to know your 20 individual hamsters, their names and personalities.

I think Havarti is the hamster's name.

It will take me a while to get all the pics but I have, cheese, havarti, feta, Asiago, ricotta, soy, mimolette, adzuki, Gouda, pinto, garbanzo, queso, ham, baby train, Cleo, Leo, Winston, jelly, Robin and flake. Asiago has such a big smile, Robin likes to escape and give me attention, Cleo likes to bite me every time I open her cage and has gotten my nose before, garbanzo is my chunker and he’s pretty lazy likes to sit in one place, pinto is very nice and she’s very lazy tho I never see her running on her wheel, they really all have little things that make them unique that’s why I love the hobby.

I think we all love keeping hamsters, for their personalities :) . Breeding them can have its risks though.
