Hi!
I think in all the globe we’re suffering a very HOT summer. Our hamster has her own room in which there’s only a cupboard with our house stuff, her cage and her own stuff. We bought a small thermometer and hygrometer and we struggle to keep the room under 25°C and it sometimes hits 28°C (and always between 40 and 50% humidity). We would need to have all the time the A/C turned on (which we try to do but it’s impossible to be all the time turned on). The A/C is in the living room so it doesn’t hit her directly, her door is always opened so she gets some fresh air. She has curtains in the window and it doesn’t get sunlight. We put also cool packs on the cage but due to its weight it’s starting to unlevel the top grid. We also try to put ceramic hideouts and sand in the fridge for some time.

Last but not least we give her fresh veggies and fruit from the fridge almost everyday like cucumber which has a lot of water.

Which should be the ideal temperature in her room? Any other advice to make it possible? Thanks!

28 degrees is quite high for room temperature. How is she reacting? I think it will be important to change her water every day. Could you have a fan in there maybe?

Most of the time it’s 24-26 degrees. Specially if we are at home using the A/C. At night we put her cool pack but idk if it’s cools the room quite well. We change her water 2 times per day. Would be good if it’s water from the fridge?

She looks fine, she sometimes sleeps out of her nest and she sleeps in ceramic hideouts or with her body just next to the water dish (made out of glass).

Which should be the accurate degrees to keep in the room? Summer but also winter? 18-24 more or less?

That might be why she's sleeping in her litter tray :-) They often sleep out in the open if they're a bit warm. I sometimes think fridge water can be a bit too cold, but it should be ok if you let it stand for a bit before putting it out. If that makes sense!
