yeah i did haha! and yep! she gets fruits/veg of some type of protein treat every few days. thanks again for your help.I'm sure you meant "wasn't" malnourished lol. I think it sounds like a good solution - there is no need to spend a fortune shipping european mixes. There is no need to supplement protein with those two mixed, which makes things easier. Although the occasional fresh treat or extra always goes down well. Giving a very tiny piece of fresh veg daily is good for them. A bit of cucumber or tiny broccoli floret goes down well or a couple of defrosted frozen peas. They love their fresh veg and look for it every dayJust a really small amount so they eat it straight away and don't hoard it (they usually do eat it straight away). I used to say approx 1cm cubed size but saw a better description on a hamster food site recently which was "no bigger than your hamster's ear"!
