Goodbye Henry

I'm afraid today is the day, Henry is no longer with us. I can't put into words how devastated I am, I loved the little guy to bits and enjoyed every moment as much as possible.

He was so brave and determined, there was just no quit in him. Even going through cancer he still had his stubborn and positive spirit the whole way through. I'm so grateful for the extra months we had after, I wish we had more.

Thanks to everyone who enjoyed following him, so many priceless memories that I will always keep with me. From his all done flumps, super serious breakfast time, listening to music together, even the moments he was mad, what an expressive and smart little creature. I'm so lucky to have had him in my life.

Here's looking up at you today Henry. If there is something after this, I'm sure he's having a ball exploring to his heart's content. I know you've taken a big part of mine, I miss you so much already little buddy.

Thanks Maz, he was an unforgettable little guy. I'm hanging in there, spent a lot of time crying yesterday and also reminiscing on our times together. I have tons of videos of Henry, revisiting the early ones was nice.

Thank you very much, he really had some fun times those weeks. Henry figured out food was coming from the kitchen, he started following me and demanding treats when I didn't give him the right one. He really loved that ice cream.

I'm glad, he was an absolute joy to come home to every day. I did my best, sometimes good sometimes not so much.

Before I disposed of his remains last night, I got a look at his belly which I rarely ever saw. The scent gland on the middle of his belly was completely solid and looked sort of like a hardened scab. I don't think it was working anymore, explains the times he seemed genuinely lost. Couldn't see or scent mark. I can only guess other organs were failing too

He had such an amazing and rich life with you ilguy. It was always interesting to hear what he got up to. Your bond was beautiful to experience through your posts and videos.

He will be much missed on the forum.

Im so sorry to hear about Henry's passing. I know I'm new to the forum and don't know much about Henry but, I can tell you have a strong bond and I know he loved you so much. Losing a friend can be hard but, he's absolutely looking down on you. Keep remembering all of your great times together!

Very sorry indeed to hear about Henry and his passing across the rainbow bridge.
