At first he looked surprised but then determined to rise to the challenge.

It was quite funny to watch because he acted like the cardboard was attacking him but then got the better of it.

Ooh lovely - Finley has an egg box treat too I bet he enjoyed that. It will have made his day I am sure. His little ears are so cute on that video.

It was certainly worth making the treat for Finlay to watch him work it out

I had one egg box and thought of Pip's cone treat but there was a slight problem. I had to devide it by 8. I must get one of those egg trays.

I was trying to think of a different shaped cardboard treat this time, but just re used the cone. I thought maybe a toilet roll with one end dipped in treats and the other end pushed into the substrate maybe. So I'm saving the toilet rolls now

he did look a bit surprised that he couldn't just grab the seeds and run, but how lovely he stayed out and enjoyed his homemade treat. Really like the way he walks into the wicker pyramid and then down into his burrow, what a cool entrance.

I cleaned the Robos tanks today and decided to take a risk and change Finley's set up. I put a couple of platforms in so he has the same level of substrate throughout. See if he digs some tunnels.
He wasn't out for long because he panicks when outside his tank and i got a couple of photos when he was back home again.

I have bad eyesight and I thought he had a butterbean on top of his head as a hat. When I zoomed in I saw it is something in the background. Lovely to see cutie pie Finley. I hope he likes the changes you have made.

I see what you mean, lol. His butterbean bonnet is a pebble on a shelf.
They aren't major changes but i freed up more underground burrowing space and he does live underground
