I've written to Ferplast to ask them to make a taller maxi duna multy
The response was they would pass it on to the design team - so hopefully there'll be more response. It's perfectly possible because all they have to do is add a panel between the base and the top (as they already do with the duna fun large - which is not that large). I mentioned it would be better if it was a perspex panel rather than bars, so bedding didn't fall out (it already has a huge barred top). But bars would be ok too.
At the moment it's a good cage for a dwarf hamster - but limited in use for a Syrian hamster. If they made one it would be a great 100cm cage! It's still good as it is (for a dwarf hamster). However the price has got ridiculously high in recent years so they would need to find more stockists to keep the price reasonable. As far as I'm aware it's only available at Porton Aquapet and Amazon and Amazon prices go up and down all over the place for it (between £90 and £190!).
I suspect the increased costs are partly import costs since Brexit. But Savic manage to keep their cages priced sensibly.
