Not sure if anyone is aware but electricity fixed deals/fuel fixed deals are available again. It depends which company you're with as to whether it's worth it. According to the Money Saving Expert, the Eon Next one year fix is probably worth it (available to new and existing customers). The rate is fractionally higher than the current cap (not much higher) but technically should work out cheaper over the next year as the cap is supposed to be going up again in January. We've gone for their 1 year V3 fix. If the cap goes up a lot in January it should make quite a bit of difference. If it doesn't go up much in January it's probably swings and roundabouts, but gives a bit of security for the next year.

I think that company had a fixed deal as well - can't remember :)

Yes, I think they do. I haven't given it a great deal of thought, but couldn't decide whether it's worth fixing or not 🤔

I'm with So Energy think I fixed a bit too soon as there are cheaper fixes out there now my last contract ran out in June and it's £150(duel) if I leave before next June. I still prefer fixed price as uncertainty alway worries me. BTW love Martin Lewis he would make a great chancellor (not getting political at all just saying 😊)

Well we're fixed till this time next year - it's not a great price but better than before October!
